In September 2015, Chris and Kathy Copeland started their plumbing company on the belief that fixing the problem is just one part of great customer service, taking care of Mr. or Mrs. Jones is Roadrunner Plumbing & Air’s most important goal.
Today, Chris and Kathy lead a full team of experts at Roadrunner Plumbing & Air, a family-owned, full-service plumbing company serving San Antonio and its surrounding areas. We invest in our team of experts and ensure everyone is trained in the latest plumbing & AC tools, equipment, and products so we can swiftly provide outstanding care.

Roadrunner Plumbing & Air is a small, family-owned business operating out of San Antonio, Texas since 2015. Formerly known as CMC Plumbing Solutions, Roadrunner Plumbing & Air has 24+ years of experience helping our residents and businesses address plumbing needs. Along the way we’ve kept one important factor at the forefront – Delivering Quality Service with Integrity and Trust. Likewise, it’s important for us to help our customers understand how the problem occurred and how we intend to address it with a feasible solution. Meet the Copeland’s
Chris Copeland is a trained and skilled Responsible Master Plumber and HVAC Contractor in the trade with over 24+ years of experience and is a Navien Service Specialist. He has helped so many residents over the years with their home comfort and constantly mentors his team to do the same. Most importantly, as a fellow Texan, he understands people.
Kathy Copeland is a retired Cybersecurity expert who supported the Department of Defense for over 22 years. Furthermore, she is a native Hawaiian, and spent most of her career on Oahu supporting clients across the Services. Although she has lived in San Antonio since 2006, she remains true to the saying in Hawaii, “never forget where you are from.” She retired in February, and is now helping her husband full-time with the business.

I will definitely use Roadrunner again and ask for Mike! - I had some really great experience working with Roadrunner plumbing and air ( previously CMC plumbing). Back in 2020, the owner Chris and his team helped me identify a very big problem within the water pipe layout of my plumbing system:… Morethe softened water went only to a few places instead of the whole house. They had to reroute the pipes by making the minimal impact to the existing structure. At the same time they helped replace the very old water softener with a new one. Everything worked so well since then.
Recently I found my water softener has been leaking. Chris’s team helped me again and replaced the leaking water softener tank by working with the manufacture and the replacement was covered by the manufacture warranty. The customer service and the communication with Chris’s wife Kathy went smoothly although there were a few clarifications needed. Chris and his staff did a great job. They explain things well and are very good at plumbing. Chris and his wife Kathy are honest business owners. - We needed a plumber on Saturday and were pleasantly surprised to find Roadrunner available 24/7. We have had a problem with this one toilet since building home 7 years ago. Found the line had a sharp bend which slowed the flow. They provided great insight into a pressure type toilet. Came out same day, diagnosed a leak and worked out component replacement when I could be available while working with my home warranty… Moreservice. Veterans discount too as a retiree which is much appreciated. System works great and no more water draining into my ceiling. Also cut down humidity in the house which is making a huge difference.
